Märzen is a veteran of beer culture here in Franconia. Brewed at the end of the brewing year in March and April with extra hops and malt, it was stored in our rock cellars until Thanksgiving in September. Then farmers, bishops and brewers enjoyed it during their lavish celebrations. Living beer culture, cheers!
