We were excited to work with Phil Sisson again, the 2016 Homebrew Challenge Champion, who created ‘Raindrops On Roses’. We have followed the same idea for this beer, brewing a classic style with a unique twist! This time we went for a Dunkel Weisse, to which we have added a tantalising amount of chocolate. The idea behind this was to find a flavour which works as a great complement to the beer. The base is already rich and complex, with a full rounded mouthfeel and a roastiness coming from the traditional malt bill. There are characters of ripe banana, raisin and coffee all present and the chocolate works as a fantastic finishing touch.
