Smooth, chocolatey Brown Ale with powerful citrus notes courtesy of a generous hopping with Chinook, Cascade, Centennial and Talus. Pours very dark brown with a cappuccino head there’s subtle cold-brew coffee in the aroma but unlike a Porter or Stout there’s no roastiness or astringency; this beer is all about big, zesty grapefruit, orange and pine resin notes intersecting with deep levels of rich malt flavour. Full flavoured and full bodied with a delicious creamy texture and restrained bitterness.
US Brown is the classic mash-up style - like a West Coast IPA with added chocolate, it’s smooth and decadent but zesty and refreshing; old school with a touch of modern class. The best of all worlds and a proper tasty beer.
