We then aged this beer in a first fill red wine barrel for over one year with additional cherries added directly in to the barrel. Finally, we racked the beer from barrel into tank with a further 250g\/l Frederiksdal cherry juice to provide additional fruit intensity, freshness and to naturally carbonate the beer.
