Starting its journey as Glory - hopped with Citra, Idaho 7, Strata and Mosaic - Northern Monk’s annual-release flagship TIPA presents aromas of passion fruit, cantaloupe melon and lime, with more tropical fruit plus a peppery dankness on the palate.
These flavours are intensified through the distillation process to provide a completely unique drinking experience, with a lingering, gentle nutty aroma, umami, herbal notes, as well as the depth of warm spent grain.
Produced in small batches, Spirit of Glory is perfect for mixing into cocktails that emphasise its tropical, citrus origins - such as a Hot Toddy or Blood and Sand - used to add herbal depth to Spritz and long drinks, or served straight up with one ice cube or a dash of water.
