Our latest Dark & Wild collab beer sees us team up with Florida’s 3 Sons Brewing to brew this deeply juicy and tropical DIPA; the second release in Billelis’ series.
El Dorado Cryo brings intense tangerine to the aroma, along with overripe tropical notes from the Idaho 7 CGX. We also used some HBC638, one of our favourite varieties to come through the hop breeding program in recent years, which brings a mix of pineapple and guava tropical notes along with hints of cantaloupe and strawberry. A prodigious super thick, 8.2% DIPA.

We want to end the year in style, with a big DIPA. It might just about be our “juiciest bev of the year” according to one of our taste panel tasters.
The Prodigal Son is our second Dark & Wild beer, made with Florida’s 3 Sons Brewing when they came over for the festival, and is a deeply juicy and tropical DIPA; the second release in Billelis’ series.
We’ve used HBC638, one of our (and especially head brewer Brian’s) favourite hop varieties to come through the breeding programme in recent years, thanks to its “well-rounded tropical flavour, and just mega juiciness, if that’s a word”. It adds a mix of pineapple and guava tropical notes along with hints of cantaloupe and strawberry.
