Tegernseer light beer
Bavarian beer as alcohol-reduced beer, light beer, draft beer and light beer, which is somewhat milder and thirst-quenching than its big brother Tegernseer Hell.
History of the Tegernseer Leicht beer
The founding of the brewery at Tegernsee probably goes back to the year 1050, after a Benedictine monastery was founded there in 746. The 'Herzogliches Bräustüberl Tegernsee' received its first license from the Bavarian Elector Ferdinand Maria in 1675.
Tegernseer Leicht is the classic draft beer, which is derived from Tegernseer Hell and is brewed as a light beer with 40% less alcohol in accordance with the Bavarian purity law.
What does the Tegernseer Leicht beer look like and how does it smell?
Light gold, shiny and with a white foam, this beer from Bavaria smells delicately malty of grain and slightly spicy of hops with a note of grass.
How does the Tegernseer Leicht beer taste?
Strongly sparkling with carbonic acid in the initial taste, it is tangy and tastes and only a little more reserved than the Tegernseer Hell. Slight hop bitterness and a fine acidity complement the malty base. Easily refreshing and with only 2.8% alcohol you can quickly drink a second beer from it. The finish is slightly bitter and rounds off this perfect, rather mild thirst quencher.

Thanks to its mild aroma, it also goes well with light summer cuisine with salads and light grilled fish.
