For many years, Spezial Gold has demonstrated remarkable sportsmanship. As the most experienced athlete on the Waldhaus team, our golden boy already shone in the team of its founder, Johann Schmid.
Originally known as a construction worker's beer, this lager has risen to the top in our market. First, Spezial Gold won a gold medal in the Export category at the European Beer Star, and then went on to win the world championship title at the International Beer Cup Japan.
It even topped the podium at the German Agricultural Society (DLG) 31 times. In its cozy Black Forest training camp, the Special Gold was therefore crowned camp champion countless times, thus achieving the status of a golden classic.
