Seasonal beer

Silvator impresses with its reddish-dark appearance and a very firm, finely pored, caramel-colored head. The taste is strongly malty, with a distinctive character, which is somewhat balanced by a pleasantly bitter hop note.

Monks were traditionally forbidden food during Lent. Therefore, they brewed a particularly strong and thus nourishing beer for themselves during this time – strong beer.
True to this tradition, we brew our Silvator every year specifically for Lent, strictly adhering to the German Purity Law and using the finest ingredients from Lower Bavaria and the Hallertau region.

The name Silvator is derived from the Latin word for forest (lat.: silva). With this, we want to express the beer's origin in the Bavarian Forest.
