The last of the Red Pear Perry in Ornellia Red Wine Barrels (borrowed from Little Pomona). Marker chose this combination to see if they could garner a touch of colour and see if the wine wood and pears went well together. Much more pronounced micro oxidation, a deeper amber colour and a fuller more sherry like taste
This amber coloured, still Perry gives off sherry and stone pear aroma. The taste is of rich stone pear with notes of sherry with plum pudding.A full mouthfeel with a touch of dry acidity towards the finish to counter the natural residual sweetness. One to savour.
