We wanted to recreate the experience of sitting in the sun, drinking that world-renowned English summer punch, made to the classic spec. A complex mix of adjuncts take centre stage: strawberry, red grape, mint, orange, cucumber, orange peel and lemon peel. To create a beer as similar to its inspiration as possible, we used Vic Secret to bring a gentle strawberry note in the kettle, and added a whole load of different fruits and peels to bring flavour, with a gentle sourness letting the rest of the ingredients sing.
