A top fermented very strong black beer that sits somewhere between a Belgian Dark Strong ale and an Imperial Vatted Porter.
Brewed in summer and fermented with ale yeast in our coolship at ambient temperatures. The nascent beer is racked into oak casks with indigenous yeast to mature over winter.
The beer is dry-hopped with whole-leaf hops and bottle conditioned for several months before release, around a year from the original brew date.
