It’s been a source of giddy excitement here at Polly’s HQ knowing that we’ve managed to get our hands on a small but significant amount of Luminosa from our hop merchant this year. Our brewers have been feverishly checking each hop delivery since we confirmed it, and the day finally came a few weeks ago; leading to utter chaos in the brewhouse as our brewers scrapped over who got to be the first to use this latest hype-forward hop variety.
We couldn’t have utilised such a hop in anything else bar a big, daft, silly DIPA and after trying the beer off the sample tap we understood the hype and then some. Luminosa Daze could well have elevated our DIPA game to the very next level – making us feel as though we’ve been transported to the sunny white sands of a Caribbean beach, this beer is pure sunshine trapped in a glass.
Expect peach-mango lemonade, candied orange peels, boysenberry and papaya in this ultra-potent, flavour intense beer.
