LET IT HAPPEN
2020 was the year we were happy to see the close of, to Let it End. Of course, we’re great optimists here at Whiplash so we’re going to crack into 2021 by saying Let it Happen. We know it’s the toughest part of this pandemic right now, but there’s hope on the horizon as long as we all stick with it and stay the course. This year will begin to get better and return to normality and to that we’ve brewed Let it Happen, our all Citra throw-the-kitchen-sink at-the-thing DIPA.
We first released Let it Happen back in 2017 and it’s rightly one of our favourite brews we’ve ever put out. We only brew this belter when we’ve got just the right Citra from harvest and this year is no exception. 2021’s Let it Happen is brewed this year using the same grist recipe but with the added benefit of our super new whirlpool allowing us to cram more Citra in here than ever before. We’ve fermented this one on London Ale 3 for a bigger body and hit it in two charges with again all Citra to build to a 24g/L charge in thank and in can. Lychee, passionfruit, citrus and a touch of dank. We’re not messing about.
