Hot Cakes is a new Imperial Stout brewed in collaboration with Great Notion. We set out to brew a chocolate chip peanut butter pancake inspired Imperial Stout. We brewed a thick and fudgey base imperial stout that clocks in at 13.5%. We then added cocoa nibs, maple syrup and double the amount of peanut butter than we’ve used in previous stouts. The peanut butter helped to give this beer an even thicker mouthfeel than the base beer in addition to huge aroma and flavor.
