We feel like Amarillo gets a bit of a bum rep amongst the ultra fruit-forward hop varietals of today. One of the original bridges between the old and new school, we absolutely love how the incredibly high myrcene content of this hop, revolutionary at the time of release, imparts a metric tonne of citrus notes, bursting at the seams in our opinion with ripe Valencia orange flavours. Wanting to pair this with an equally intense hop varietal, our brewers couldn’t look any further than one of the most highly sought after in the world - Galaxy. As a varietal with one of the highest concentrations of oil on the planet, Hide Magic is packed to the absolute nines with sweet oranges, along with passionfruit, peach and guava.
