Anyone who has followed our brewery for long enough will be familiar with the recurring floral motifs throughout our releases - we’re not quite sure why, but it fits our identity so well. Flowers is a beer that has ebbed and flowed through our brew plans on and off for the better part of three years; originally intended as part of what would ultimately become our core range before the pandemic altered our plans, we brought it back into our brew plans again toward the end of last year before knocking it back out as we weren’t 100% convinced at the recipe. Coming into 2023 with pretty much free rein on a stack of the freshest New Zealand hops was the perfect marriage of convenience for this beer to finally be released to the world. Featuring a 100% NZ lineup of Nelson, Wai-iti, Motueka and Riwaka, this beer is ultra soft on the palate; with a gentle sprinkling of tropical fruit before just the slightest hint of savoury edge rounds things off perfectly.
