As part of our work on sustainability we used only UK ingredients, including barley from a polyculture. This method of growing requires much reduced pesticide and fertiliser input, whilst helping to build the health of the soil.
The hops used were all from Brook House Hops in Hereford. We chose varieties to push different aspects of orange. Admiral for pithy slightly resinous character, UK Chinook, for more delicate orange and brighter citrus, and Phoenix for sweet spicy vibes.
