Dark alcohol-free wheat beer

As with all our Hefeweizen specialties, our original, artisanal brewing process forms the basis. Tittinger spelt malt and particularly aromatic roasted malt also ensure an exceptional flavor. This recipe gives the Gutmann Dark Non-Alcoholic Hefeweizen a spicy, typical beer flavor.

At the same time, we aim to promote biodiversity in our local area with our Dark Non-Alcoholic Hefeweizen. The spelt comes from our brewing grain producer association and is sustainably cultivated in a field flora reserve on the Tittinger Pfleimberg. After harvesting, the spelt is malted in our own malthouse. Through near-natural spelt cultivation, we aim to make an additional contribution to preserving biodiversity in our region—a "market of biodiversity."

On the Pfleimberg, you can still experience an agricultural structure typical of the Middle Ages: the three-field system, with small arable plots, stone walls, and grazed pastures. This traditional structure is preserved through extensive, weed-friendly farming. The "Jura-Land" brewing grain producers' association cultivates, among other things, old, locally typical grain varieties here. In this way, we promote sustainable, regional value chains. Environmental protection that tastes good.
