We’ve brewed a hoppy lagered porter using the heritage barley variety Chevallier as the base malt and hopped with Mosaic. After brewing our Vienna lager using Chevallier, we figured it would work well in a porter. It’s got big dark fruity vibes upfront then mellowed off with a nice roasty finish.
