Complicated Dark Beer

Our collaboration with Omnipollo is coming out very soon! We had a very very nice time brewing with friends that we've known and loved for pretty much our entire journey in brewing.

We wanted to brew a luscious, thick stout based equally on their Wonka-esque pastry concoctions and our Plain Dark Beer. The result was pretty much an entire week of brewing to produce Complicated Dark Beer, a "zero-adjunct pastry stout" with grown up, all malt (we didn't even use brewers sugars!) confectionery flavours of chocolate, coffee, some licorice and rich fruits. Think black forest gateaux in sauce form.
