North X Overtone - Oat Cream DIPA 8% ABV 440ml Can
It’s been 5 weeks since Glasgow’s finest, Overtone Brewing Co graced our brewery hall. Together, we put our brew kit to the test. Attempting to make the smoothest creamiest DIPA possible and oh me oh my did it come out good! You’re going to want to sit down for this one.
Chock full of extra pale malt + 30% flaked oats in the grist and finished with a gentle addition of lactose this DIPA is so soft, so creamy and so smooth. Oat Cream base, check! - Now the fun part. Lupomax Huell Melon, Galaxy and Sabro entwine and deliver an intense tropical smoothie of piña colada, cantaloupe, vanilla, honey drizzled passion fruit and coconut cream finishing with a long and lasting pinch of fresh green bitterness.
