Cola drinks have been around since the 19:th century. Beers sour with Lactobacillus and flavored with spices a lot longer than that. The fact that no one, to our knowledge, had put the two together baffled us when we two years ago started toying with the idea. Then we figured that making it work might be the issue. We started blending spices, looking up old botanical cola recipes, extracting flavors, doing some more blending, adding spices, taking spices away, playing with fruit combos. We could have given up. But, we didn’t. And, here we are. The perfect combo of everyone’s favorite two drinks, with a little popsicle vibe.
