Ah, good old dependable Citra. A hop that has been a stalwart in our brewing since day one. The varietal that bridges that wonderful line between old and new school that we love so much; we were so blown away by the intensity of the latest crop that arrived from our hop merchant, with it being evident just when we opened the bag it was packaged in, that we would need to create a celebration beer to honour this incredible varietal. A pale ale at that golden ABV strong enough to retain all the mouthfeel we love in our beers, but low enough to smash a pint of with pals, expect to find huge tangerine, pomelo, and lemon notes, backed up with pithy orange peel notes for balance to boot.
