By maturing our Caramel Fudge Stout in these barrels, the beer is nicely balanced between the sweet taste of the stout, the slightly smoky, the spices and the smoothness of the bourbon.
The beer is wonderfully boozy, full of chocolate flavor and notes of vanilla through the oak wood, a real treat for the colder days.
