Dialling up the intensity for this week’s releases, our Serious Sour is an absolute flavour bomb! 
Tart, mouthwatering blackcurrants are backed up by the addition of one of our favourite herbs (first time we’ve used it in our Modern Sour Beer) – Lemon Verbena. 
A triumph of a flavour combination; our house mixed culture pairs perfectly with sharp blackcurrants giving a puckering tartness which suits the berry character; the lemon verbena adds a distinct lemon peel aroma with a herbaceous background note – think lemongrass without the spicy connotations.
