Together with our friends from Mad Scientist in Budapest we put our heads together. We wanted to make a beer that would knock you back, something that would not only linger in your mouth but also in your mind.
Black Potion is a big, thick Pastry Stout of 13.8% that will blow your taste buds away. The beer gets its black color by using roasted malts. We brewed this beer with plums and apricots, after which we added maple syrup and vanilla.
