NOTHELFER ORGANIC WEISSE
Ever since the Franconians rediscovered wheat beer brewing, magnificent wheat beers such as the Nothelfer Bio-Weisse have been produced here. Sunshine yellow with clear yeast clouding, it shines under the blossom-white, firm, fine to medium-pored foam. The beer exudes a scent of honeydew melon, green banana and cider pear, gently underscored by notes of grain. Even the first sip conveys freshness and a wonderfully soft, velvety mouthfeel. Aromas of fruity, fully ripe bananas and intense cloves and aniseed in the finish unfold in the mouth and arouse anticipation of the next sip of this balanced wheat.
Food recommendation: Salads (also with fruit), fruit sundae, poultry, cheese (Obatzter/Gepupfter), fatty, spicy sausage such as white or city sausage.
