We have brewed a beautiful barley wine and let it mature for 6 months in Het Anker whiskey barrels. This gives the beer deep and warm tones of caramel, vanilla and oak. The whiskey barrels provide a nice complexity to the strong malt character of the beer. This gives you a nice full and soft taste experience, ideal to enjoy quietly.
