Baltic Porter is a style that has been an important part of Põhjala's story since day one. We knew already from the beginning that our very first brew Öö must be an Imperial Baltic Porter which we have brewed continuously ever since and had the pleasure of spreading our love for that style across the globe.
This year we're beginning an annual celebration of that beerstyle by entering Baltic Porter Day and releasing new beer to give this style the attention it fully deserves.

A true celebration of the Baltic Porter, this new beer features a luxuriously rich malt base with flavours of toasted rye bread, red berries and dark chocolate and aged on Palo Santo wood. Native to South America and known as the ''holy wood'' in Spanish, this adds aromatic notes of vanilla, toasted almonds, eucalyptus and fresh mint, with a long, smooth finish.
