As we're gradually edging closer and closer toward a core range finally dropping, we wanted to make a little end of summer showcase to some of our favourite hops of 2021 in a series that we hope will become a yearly release every August. This edition sees us bowing down at the temple of Citra; a hop that has been a stalwart in our brewing since day one. The varietal that bridges that line between old and new school that we love so much, we were absolutely blown away by the intensity of the latest crop from our hop merchant, with it being evident just when we opened the bag it was packaged in, that this would be something extra special. Huge tangerine, pomelo, and lemon notes knock this one out of the park, backed up with pithy orange peel notes for balance to boot..
