The third beer in Dan Mumford’s Patrons Project sees us shine the spotlight on Manchester.
This 7% hazy IPA is a collaboration with our friends at Track and sees us use basically every kind of hop format and addition there is. Dip hopping, mid-fermentation hops, dry hops, bright beer tank hops in the form of Citra, Mega Motueka, Eggers Special, Citrulicious Floe, Motueka Subzero Hopkief.
We also added a little coconut into the mash to give the beer a smooth and pillowy mouthfeel. Expect flavours that remind you of a mojito - creamy with lime and citrus fruit flavours.

For the next stop on our illustrative tour of the North with @danmumforddraws, we find ourselves in the familiar city of Manchester.
Manchester is a special place for Northern Monk. It’s the only location outside of Leeds that’s home to a Northern Monk tap room (at the minute, anyway…) so it’s only right that the next release in Dan’s Patrons Project series pays homage to this city.
And we’ve not messed about. Brian and the IPA wizards at @trackbrewingco have basically used every kind of hop format and addition there is. Dip hopping, mid-fermentation hops, dry hops, bright beer tank hops in the form of Citra, Mega Motueka, Eggers Special, Citrulicious Floe, Motueka Subzero Hopkief.
